Paula Fijolek

Paula is a mechanical engineering student at the Seattle University. She aspires to work in the aerospace industry where the hardest challenges meet the strongest opponents. Paula has received the Grace Hopper Award for Research in Engineering and Computing at the BC STEM Symposium of 2020. She was also a presenter at the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics PNW and is certified in High Power Rocketry by the National Association of Rocketry. In her free time, Paula serves as the Aviation Pavilion Ambassador at the Museum of Flight in Seattle and assists Boeing Retiree Brunch events where former colleagues can reunite.

Manilyn Cabrera

Manilyn is currently an undergrad student at Seattle University pursuing her mechanical engineering degree. She is currently part of the research team and design team for this project. She aspires to work in an innovative industry that improves people’s lives and provides professional growth. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing guitar, taking pictures, reading books, and driving around.

Coby Fraley

Coby is currently a Jr. at Seattle University working on his undergraduate in mechanical engineering. Coby is one of the team researchers as well as a website editor. Coby’s career goal is to work as a mechanical engineer for an innovative company that prides itself on bettering the world. Coby’s biggest accomplishments are …, and winning Kahoot in preparation for his Fluids final. Outside of classwork Coby enjoys flying his drone, hiking, playing soccer, pulling pranks on his friends and family.

Mauricio Ayon

Mauricio is a Junior Mechanical Engineering Student at Seattle University. He transferred to SU in the Fall of 2020 from Highline Community College where he was secretary of the Engineering Club. He is interested in finding new and creative ways to improve quality of life through the development of technology and industry.

Mohammed Bashmail

Mohammed Is a junior Mechanical Engineer at Seattle University. He aspires to build his career in the Automobile industry. Mohammed Is working as one of the researchers and a website editor for this project. He is eager to enhance his current skills and problem-solving in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Mohammed enjoys playing soccer, horse riding, and volunteering.
